Joe comics – which was recently reprinted in IDW’s Classic G.I. Joe, Volume #15. These days, Ernie is a freelance cartoonist working through his own EJ Graphix Imprint, which features Stick-E Stickers and the ever popular E-Lectro Magnets as he plots a return to comics in 2015. Nathanael Batchelor

Nathanael Batchelor works as both a freelance comic and concept artist along with voice acting and many other talents including sculpting and special effects/make-up. Voices he loves to imitate include Kermit the Frog, The Joker (both Hamill and Ledger versions) and Megatron (G1 and Transformers Prime versions). He is currently working on an original comic series named Retr0. Nathanael has also cosplayed and acted as The 11th Doctor for New Dimension Comics for various events. D.J. and Ally make up the creative team behind the upcoming “God Child” graphic novel from Caliber Comics. D.J. is a small press veteran who began his comic career self publishing mini comics and graphic novels in the Pittsburgh area before moving on to create Hero By Night and many other independent comics. Since teaming up, Coffman & Monroe have not only been working on God Child together but also spend the rest of their free time creating side projects and loving sequential art

Vito Delsante is a comic book writer/graphic novelist. He’s written for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Image Comics, AdHouse Books, and Simon & Schuster, among others and his stories have been reprinted in other countries.

Vito currently makes his comic book home at Action Lab Entertainment where he has penned the smash hit “Stray”. His writing has received praise from everyone including the legend himself Stan Lee.

Originally form Ford City, Pa Vito, his lovely wife Michelle, and their daughter currently live in the Bronx, NY.

Jay Fife

Jay Fife is a pin-up and portrait artist from the upper Ohio Valley. His work is mostly full rendered pencil drawings of characters from all aspects of horror, fantasy, sci-fi and comics. Specializing in customized pinups realistically depicting famous characters or compositions of favorite personalities from TV and movies, Jay brings personality to his images.

Jay recently has his art featured in the Harvey Award winning Image comic Mice Templar Destiny and has been the subject of an artist spotlight along with a pin-up featured in Hustler Magazine. Jay’s art was also featured in Echo Immortalus Magazine and has been the cover of two issues of the Horror anthology The Willows. Jay did a cover for Heske Horror’s Cold Blooded Chillers, had art featured in Pin-Up Magazine, The Serial Squad from Bad Place Productions, Eve-Vampire Diva from Arcana Comics and is the cover artist for the upcoming Dare #2 for Pickle Press Comics. Jays pin-ups are well known for featuring some of the most beautiful pin-up models including April Hunter, Jamie Eason and the amazing Acid Pop Tart.

Garrett FreeGarrett Free

Garrett Free is a comic book writer from Pittsburgh, PA. He learned from a young age by attending art school at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, PA. After reading the Watchmen, Garrett began pursuing writing comic books as a new creative output. He finds that his biggest influences in his writing come from his own past experiences and music, but he also draws a lot of influence from old movies. Easily the most prolific staff member of Action Lab, Shawn (and wife Stephanie) have been carving out their niche with Angry Gnome Comics for years, producing books like Palm Reader, Victor Season, and the critically acclaimed anthology, Short Stack, an excerpt of which was featured in Heavy Metal magazine. Shawn also spearheaded the Greenbrook Project, challenging five indie publishers to take the same basic plot and character list and to create their own unique storyline.

As Editor in Chief of Action Lab, Shawn lends his eagle eye to all Action Lab books from conception to the final product. On top of his duties as EIC, Shawn is also the writer of Action Lab’s first comic book series, Fracture and the horror filled one-shot Snowed In.

Jude Gallagher, 20, is a local, up and coming Pittsburgh artist. Self taught beginning at a very young age has allowed him to master his craft by trial and error. His style consists of a combination of tradition, clean pencil work with a touch of graphic design. Bringing the two worlds together gives Jude’s work a blend of unique techniques. Being an artist on display has always been a dream of his, and now it is finally a reality. With aspirations of becoming an experienced, well-rounded artist, Jude is thrilled to have his work on display for the guests at the Pittsburgh Comic & Collectibles Show to enjoy.

Scott Hedlund is a comic book maker from Pittsburgh, PA. Over the past 15 years, Scott has contributed pencils, inks, colors, covers, and letters to books and webcomics including: Weirdlings, Fairhaven, Chaos Punks, WZWA, World of Orenda, Super Haters, and latest comic project, In No Way Memorable. Hello art lovers and fans. My name is Brandon “Bardo” Holly. I’m a 39 year old freelance illustrator and cartoonist originally from Baltimore, MD. Now I reside in Pittsburgh, PA with my wife and 4 children. I’m a self taught natural artist (thanks to my dad) with a BA degree from La Roche College in Graphic Design.

I enjoy classic cartoons ranging from old Disney shorts, Looney Tunes to Phineas and Ferb, and TMNT. My favorite artists are J. Scott Campbell, Frank Cho, Pat Lee, and the legend of comic covers… Micheal Turner. Primarily, I draw pin up art using my brand of art called Bardo’s World. I am a local freelance artist from Pittsburgh. I studied Visual Arts at Radford University as well as Multimedia Technologies at Pittsburgh Technical Institute. While attending Radford University, I was a staff writer and graphic artist for Whim – Radford University’s online magazine. I am best known for my one-panel, The Far Side-esque cartoons. I have also designed promotional flyers for local concerts as well as illustrations and cartoons for various newsletters. I am currently working on illustrations for table-top games as well as my first graphic novel, Hammurabi: Eye for an Eye which I hope to have published sometime next year.

Hello, I’m Yoko from Pittsburgh, Pa. I’m 22 years old and I’m new to the world of cosplay. I finished my first cosplay in August 2014 as Lady Loki and I’ve been addicted ever since. I managed to complete four cosplays before the year was up and I’m hoping to bring even more to the table this year. I can’t wait to see where the future of cosplay takes me. I’m confident in my everyday life but being in cosplay just gives me a power up. I hope to help others feel the same way and I’m always here for any advice or help in the cosplay community.
